Update – Maintenance of Top Pool

Hi everyone,

We’ve had a few issues with the top pool in the last week, which have now been resolved.

  • We’ve had some cloudiness in the water, mostly caused by small flowers and seeds falling into the pool from the date palm trees. The trees have been pruned so this has been fixed.
  • We have also had an automatic liquid chlorine dispenser fitted, so this will maintain the pH of the water at the correct level.
  • The timer for the water features was not working, and this has also now been addressed.

Also, to let you know also that the pool maintenance company will be visiting the urbanisation to check all three pools on a daily basis from now until the end of August. We increase the frequency of checks during the peak summer months every year, to ensure the pools are clean and ready for all of our owners and visitors to enjoy.

While the pool company maintain the water in the pools, it is up to owners and visitors to ensure the pool area is left clean and tidy after you visit.

Please ensure all rubbish and personal items are taken away after you visit the pools.

Community fees due

Dear owners,

Please note that the second instalment of community fees (*€260) is now due.

If you pay by direct debit, you do not need to take any action.

If you pay by standing order, please make arrangements to pay your fee as soon as possible. The community depends on prompt payment of community fees to continue to maintain the urbanisation.

As per the recent notice, the community bank account has been changed. Full details of the bank account can be found here.

 At the March 2024 AGM, the community approved an increase of 60€ per year, effective from 1st January 2024, meaning that in July 2024 the fee payable will be 260€ (because the January fee had been applied for already) and the fee payable in January 2025 will be 230€

Trees Pruned

The date palm trees are in flower this month, and shedding their blooms onto the road and into the pools.

The contractors came onto the urbanisation to prune them this week, and they made a great job of it. Everything is looking great now,

Hi everyone,

With temperatures rising, we have removed the cover on the heated pool for the summer. If you are using the pool, there is no need to replace the cover (until further notice). 

The heated pool is out of action - for today only. 

The pool is being chemically treated and will be out of action for 24 hours.

The other two pools are working as normal.

Glad to report that the shower in the Top Pool has been repaired and is now back in action.

We have a growing problem with cats fouling gardens and communal areas. We respectfully request all cat owners to provide cat litter trays in their own properties, and to ensure the cat litter is refreshed on a regular basis.
